Server access data
The server processes technically necessary connection data to provide and secure the service.
Consent-based Matomo audience measurement
After explicit consent, a self-hosted Matomo installation records page views, time, referrer, device and browser class, approximate region, downloads, outbound links and technical performance. Analytics data remains on the operator's Hetzner server and is not transferred to an external analytics provider.
IP addresses are shortened by three bytes before storage. Full IP storage, session recordings, heatmaps, advertising profiles, cross-site tracking and clear-text user IDs are disabled. Public visitors are not identified by name. Without consent the Matomo tracker is not loaded.
Raw visit data is retained for a limited period. Aggregated daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports may be retained for long-term development of the knowledge portal. Consent can be changed at any time through the privacy settings.
Newsletter
The service stores name, business email, role, timestamp and confirmation status. Messages may only be sent after double opt-in confirmation.
Contact and project enquiries
When the contact form is used, we process name, company, contact details, professional role, project information, message, consent status and submission time to handle and answer the enquiry. Information is retained only as long as required for communication, potential pre-contractual measures and applicable legal retention obligations.
MCP directory submissions
For directory submissions we process name, email address, proposed URL, title, category, topic, description, confirmation status and editorial decision. Public entries do not expose the submitter's name or email address.
Data-subject rights
Applicable rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and complaints to a supervisory authority.
