Consent manager
The necessary first-party cookie travelmcp_consent_v2 stores the consent version, categories and update time. Necessary functions remain active; functional services and audience measurement are separate and disabled by default.
Future tools must be registered centrally and may only start when their assigned category has been allowed. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
Matomo audience measurement
The self-hosted Matomo tracker loads only after audience-measurement approval. It may then set first-party cookies beginning with _pk_. Withdrawing consent disables the tracker and removes these cookies.
The configuration covers pages, referrers, device and browser classes, downloads and outbound links. Full IP addresses, advertising profiles and cross-site tracking are not part of the configuration.
Necessary storage
travelmcp_consent_v2 records the consent choice. travelmcp_accessibility_v1 stores optional display and operation preferences. The protected editorial area additionally uses an HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite Strict session cookie. These mechanisms are not used for audience measurement.
